Urgent: School Closed to Most Pupils
4th January 2021
Warden House Primary School will remain closed to the majority of pupils at the start of Term 3
Warden House Primary School will remain closed to all year groups and will not reopen normally for the start of Term 3. This is due to not having enough staff available to be able to safely run our classes due to ongoing concerns caused by the Covid pandemic.
Please note that we will remain open to provide provision for the children of Key Workers and for those children who are considered vulnerable (in possession of an Education Health Care Plan or with a named social worker). Please note that this provision may not be provided by your child’s normal class teacher or TA.
If your child fits these criteria and you would like to reserve a place for them, you must click here to complete our online form before sending your child into school.
If you are a key worker, then we ask that you only send your child into school as a last resort and if there is no one else available to care for them.
We are sorry for the last-minute nature of this announcement and thank you all wholeheartedly for your support during such a difficult situation. We will be in touch in the coming days with further information once we have it regarding our next steps. Please stay safe and well and we hope to see our children back in school as soon as it is safe enough to do so.
